If we come by boat are there slips available?
Thanks Ron! I will ask the Port of Kimberling what they will have available and let you know.
The Port says that there is a courtesy dock located right at the campground boat ramp that can be used. If this is full there are 50+ slips located further back in the cove. From here, you can get a golf cart ride around to the event.
Spread the word!
Please clarify event dates. It is listed as 9/19 and 9/20 one place; another indicates 9/13. We are visiting your area and would like to visit, but unclear as to dates and times.
Our appologies! It is 9-19 to 9-20. 9/13 was last year!
Is it 5 dollars for each person including children
5 and under are free. Everyone else is $5 each, but it is all going to a great cause!
What’s the cause?
Proceeds benefit White River Valley Trust Scholarship Program- Operation Round Up. For 25 years,
Operation Round Up program has collected and distributed over $3.6 million to students, families and organizations
throughout the five-county service area. All funds are awarded for basic needs such as food,
shelter, clothing, health care and education. For more information and to find out how you can get involved visit whiteriver.org.
Where do we find the results for the peoples choice?
Do you have a tentative schedule for this year yet? I see the dates are Sept 17-18. Thanks
Nothing set in stone, but the general agenda will be the same as the last 2 years. Cooking demos throughout the day on Saturday, hamburger competition early Saturday afternoon, people’s choice tasting mid afternoon, beer, bands, kids activities all day, etc…
Sunday will be the turn-ins for the main KCBS competition starting at noon.
